Summoner spell timer overlay for League of Legends
Is your Flash up for the next fight? Can you Teleport bot after this wave? Farmy puts your Summoner Spell and item cooldowns as a clear countdown next to your HUD, so you don't have to hover over tiny icons in the middle of a fight.
What the timer shows
| Cooldown | How it is shown |
|---|---|
| Summoner Spells (D and F) | Icon, key and remaining time like 3:12, or ready when it is up. |
| Item actives | Zhonya's Hourglass, Stopwatch, Guardian Angel and other items with a cooldown, on their item key (1–6). |
| Compact mode | All cooldowns as rings that drain with the remaining time, in a narrower panel. |
How it works
League shows the remaining cooldown on your own Summoner Spells in the HUD. When a spell goes on cooldown, the overlay reads that number once from the screen and counts down on its own. Every 10 seconds it checks the HUD again, so cooldown reductions from runes or items are picked up. A cooldown can only go down during a check – if a reading would make it jump up, it is treated as a misread and ignored.
Item cooldowns are read from your item slots once per second with the overlay's own digit recognition, which costs practically nothing. Smite is recognised with and without its upgraded icon.
Everything runs locally. The overlay never reads the game's memory and sends no inputs – it only looks at what is already on your screen. Modules you switch off in the settings are not read at all.
What about enemy Summoner Spell timers?
Tracking enemy cooldowns automatically is something Riot's rules for third-party apps don't allow, because it gives you information the game does not show you. Farmy deliberately only shows your own cooldowns. For enemy Flash timers you are still on your own – or on your support's memory.
Setup
- Download and start Farmy.
- Set League's Window Mode to Borderless or Windowed – no overlay can sit on top of exclusive Full Screen.
- Start a game. Resolution and HUD scale are detected automatically; drag the panel wherever you like.
